As Creative Director of PLACE Michael is responsible for developing the creative vision of the organisation in conjunction with the team and the board. Michael will represent PLACE at a regional, national and international level, liaising with key clients and partners and developing future creative and cultural projects for the organisation.

In response to the new appointment Michael said:

“I am extremely excited about the appointment as Creative Director of PLACE and returning to Northern Ireland to help shape the future of planning and architecture here.
Just last week DoE Minister Mark H Durkan launched the Draft Living Places Design Guide at our Urban Design Academy in Bangor and PLACE is looking forward to working together with the minister and the department in the delivery of this important initiative.
We will be continuing our campaign to revitalise town centres with an upcoming report called Vacant to Vibrant and our ongoing role as Regional Delivery Partners for somewhereto_ ensures that young people will play a part in the shaping and improving of our towns and cities."
