Hi there!

I'm sending you this email because I think you might be interested in joining in with a wonderful and very unusual project that I'm doing.

If you like to be creative and enjoy the outdoors, walking, climbing, camping this project is for you.

For two weeks, from next Monday, Artist Dan Shipsides and myself are going to be climbing, moving, recording, photographing, videoing, eating and sleeping at a secluded cove in North Donegal as the first part of a project investigating the poetic possibilities in the direct physical engagement with one very particular natural location. From that engagement we will be creating movement, still and moving images, environmental art, stories and ideas.

Part of this project is open for participation.
Why not join us for two weekends of camping, climbing, dancing, swimming, videoing, writing, discussing, recording, eating at a beautiful secluded coastal location in Inishowen, Co Donegal. 2nd -4th and  9th - 11th September. We'll be exploring together the poetic possibilities of a close physical engagement with the natural environment.

I would like it if you could join us for all or part of this time bringing all or some of:
cameras
writing materials
paints
art materials
musical instruments
recording equipment
kids
ideas
camping equipment
climbing equipment (climb at your own risk of course)
enthusiasm

We will provide guidance on safety, environmental sensitivity and the creative framework of the project..... and then.... we expect you to do just what you want... let your imagination roll with the waves, the rock and the weather.

There will be some guided activities including rock-climbing and movement/dance.

Food, shelter, etc are up to you but we are providing a basic toilet tent facility.

Afterwards, Dan and I will be creating an installation in the new Echo Echo Studio in Bishop Street, Derry, opening 24th September.... maybe we'll ask you to contribute something you create...

More details are in the PDF attachment. If you want to ask anything call or email Sarah (sarah@echoechodance.com).

You can of course just turn up but, if possible, please let me or Sarah know if you intend to join us so we have an idea of numbers.

Best wishes...
(... and apologies for cross-posting...)
Steve
